97 S-10 clutch question

I am usually on the 67-72 Blazer forum, but I am at home visiting my parents and I have an S10 truck. It is 4 cylinder, 5 speed etc etc. I got in it today, pushed in the clutch, started up. I put it in first and it didn't feel right, then it went to the floor. It has about 90,000 miles on it and as of three months ago was running fine and it has been sitting since. This is a spare truck and normally doesn't get driven much except when I come to visit every one to two years. Anyone have any ideas?? It is raining and cold here and I would like to have some ideas of what to look for before I climb under it.--thanks David
