Do I need to have this?

This hosse that goes from the gas tank, up into the cab and back into the gas tank. Is it necessary? I don't have any of my other emission stuff hooked up. But my gas tank does have the nipples for this hose.

That's your check valve recirc line. I'd keep it.

You can buy those anywhere they sell stereo parts. If I was buying another system buy the sub that has the built in amp. It will save you alot of space and you'll need less wire to run. Way back 5 years ago, I bought a 10" with the built in amp for 220.00. A really good Co. is Bazooka.

Didnt only the 71 and 72's have the vent? How did the earlier models vent? Through the gas cap?

I believe your right about the pre '71's venting through the gas cap, Gee_Emm.
