What add-ons have yall added for milage?

I have a 06 GMC CC with the 5.3 and am thinking of adding some stuff to help the milage out some. I am looking into thethrottle body spacers/cold air intake/and exhaust. What have yall used and what made the biggest difference?

Re: What add-ons have yall added for milage?

Exhaust, intake = note noticeable difference (despite their claims)

Wait4me PCM tune:
Before - 17/18.5 (Regular gas)
After - 18.5/21.5 (Regular) / 19.5/~23.2 (Super)
Both these are based off of single trips/tanks of gas. Need more trips to get true "average". But I have noticed that the past few times I have filled the tank I have averaged just over 20pmg with mostly mixed driving with small weekend trips thrown in.

I would like to try a few more things but haven't heard of any real noticeable MPG/power gainss unless you are prepared to spend some money.

Next big ticket item will be headers but not sure when that might happen.

Re: What add-ons have yall added for milage?

PS; the tune is about the cheapest thing to try - $75 + shipping. Not sure if the price is still the same though.

I found through googling wait4me that there are as many people happy with the results as people that weren't (or knew someone that wasn't, or heard of someone that wasn't, or etc).

There is definately cliques out there for the different tuners. My truck is my DD and I am not looking for this thing to blow doors. But it has been pleasantly suprising the performance I have gotten vs. the MPG.

Maybe one day when a 5.3 or a 6.0 resides in my K5 I will research a bit more about power/MPG gains.
