This was pulled off a '79 Camaro with the NON-integrated head 250. I planned on using a double groove harmonic balancer (for a ’79 Camaro 250 – they are available new for @ $60) and a double groove water pump pulley for the same vehicle. You’d also need to use the ’79 Camaro 250 water pump.

This thing was almost perfect. I decided to strip the anodizing, as it was clouded in a couple of spots. I planned on sanding / polishing it out. I’ve completed a good bit, and it needs a couple of small dings worked out. Simply haven’t had time to work on it. I’ll take pics how it sits. If no takers, I’ll make time to finish it up and of course the price will reflect that.

All engine parts are from a ’65 C10 230, unless otherwise noted:

Oil Pan VGC $25 + shipping

Valve cover VGC $25 + shipping

Alternator (was working /charging fine before I tore down the truck) $25 + shipping

OEM metal fuel lines from carb to fuel pump $15 + shipping

Original 230 carb (ran fine – I’m sure it could use a rebuild) $45 + shipping

Intake manifold $40 + shipping

Cylinder head COMPLETE (again ran fine 150K miles) $50 + shipping

Set of 6 rods in good shape w/ stock pistons still attached (one piston has a cracked spot on the lower ring land) $30 + shipping

Crankshaft (needs polishing – journals measured good) $50 + shipping

Flywheel (3 speed manual) in very good shape $40 + shipping
Used pressure plate and clutch. Worked fine. $30 + shipping

Manual transmission bellhousing in VGC $40 + shipping

3 speed manual transmission, worked fine $75 + shipping

Timing Cover VGC (it’s been cleaned and pretty much stripped) $20 + shipping

Pushrod covers $15 + shipping

I’ve got the entire valvetrain (lifters, rockers, pushrods) all in good used shape, all bagged with cylinder number if someone needs some spares. Make me an offer

Do you have an original GM harmonic balancer, double groove, for a 250 6 cyl?
