Specs on 75 454.

Hey All!
My 75 Scottsdale one ton is a 2WD, with a 454. I know specs say 245 hp.
I'm wondering if it's a 4 bolt? How would I tell from serial number?
It's a Camper Special, eight lug wheels.

Any help iD'ing this would be great, thanks!

You might be able to tell from the casting numbers, but most of the time it will say 2 or 4 bolt. I had many a 454 out of 3/4 and 1 ton trucks, every one a 2 bolt. But they can still be built up and are still strong. Should have some good heads on it, either 049 or 781s.

The suffix code may tell you if it is a 2 bolt or 4 bolt, but I seriously doubt that it would be a 4 bolt. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a 2 bolt block.
