Master disconnect switch - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

So I have this idea. Going to be installing HEI soon. Need to run 12 volt wire anyway,lets put a kill switch in. Here is the idea, my truck has manual throttle knob on dash right side.Above it has one of the GM plugs for when the other hole has nothing to put in it.(maybe was for manual choke??)Why not take the plug out and put switch there with a knob that looks like the rest of the ones on dash? Maybe a wiper knob?
Any ideas on what switch mite work??
Would be hidden in plain site I think.
