Planning ahead.

I am just about to have my '58 Apache on the road for the first time. I purchased it last September and now that spring is here it is just about ready. I want t plan ahead for a project for next winter.

I am 33, so i want to enjoy the truck now and will most probably do a full restoration in later years. That being said i will most likely keep a stock "like" suspension for now and maybe do a full brand new rolling chassis later in life.

What i would like to do next winter is lower the truck down 3-5", install a power steering setup with a tilt column.

What would be my best option to achieve this??
Rear i would imagine should be an axel flip.
Front would be a dropped axel.
Both with new set of leafs.

Can i install a power steering setup with a dropped axel? if so suggestions?

Thanks for everyones input. This site is great to get info from people who have already been there and done that.
