1974 blazer value?

i am more of a 70 - 72 guy but am waivering to the 73 -75 partially cause

i found a 74 for sale and i did have a 79 rust bucket that i wheeled pretty hard when i was a teenager and bondoed it up and made some sheet metal pieces for it but thats a different story.

but i am somewhat confused as to the 1974's value.

the tranny is slipping and the body has some rust but not bad

i don't have good pictures but it looks ok from the one pic i have seen.

my question is this

how much in general is it worth?

all help is appreciated

Re: 1974 blazer value?

i was thinking 2k like it sets but with out tires and wheels i have that option. i was thinking 13 or 1400 for it. not too many of these around here so its hard to tell what they are going for thats why i was hoping for a little help on here. and it is an 85 front clip on it. is that a big deal? good i have heard but does it matter one way or the other? thanks for the help.

Re: 1974 blazer value?

I think you are right on track with the pricing sadly enough (well, not sad if you are buying -- sad for selling) The full convertible option is 'outta sight and the '73-'75's are arguably the most desired of this generation because of this

I have had a pretty nice '88 K5 for sale now for a while and cant get anybody to even call on it for $2500. thats with a fuelie engine.

Everyone loves the big Blazers, but the '69-72's are the only ones that seem to fetch any real coin unless they are in time capsule condition

Re: 1974 blazer value?

I was going to say around $2000 or less based on its condition.
I saw some local ones going for about $1500-2000 since people want the newer cars and trucks, or just to sell it since it is a gas hog.
