If it's the bed, you're going to have to take it off and have somebody put on that corner while you carefully hammer/dolly the inside of the bedside in order to get that corner to come out. I did that on the OEM box sides I have now and JaysonB and I just did on the white box in Dad79GMC build thread. That just simply stinks!!!! Sorry for the frustration. Mike

Re: Silverado restoration in Finland

Hello everybody! My brother just testing 275/60-15" tire in the truck. Rear wheels is rally wheels 15x10". What do you think?? I think that 295/50-15" tires is too low to this suspension... If someone has a pictures on the same rally wheels (front 15x8" and rear 15x10") and same tires then I would like to see.

This area isn't super stiff, I think I would try and get a small jack, or porta power behind it, and I bet you could get it pushed right back where it goes without doing any damage to the new paint.

Hello Jayson!
Thanks for the tip of Jayson. I tried to pull it but did not succeed. Our painter said that I can cut it open and weld to the right place. He promised to paint secondary color. The painter hoped that he would not have to paint the light bronze metallic color(primary color) again. We will fix it until the last.

By the way; I sended private message for you.

Our tires finally came. Front is 245/60-15" and rear is 295/50-15". Hopefully the truck will drop when all parts are installed.

This is powerful 6.2 litre diesel. Yes, I know, it should be big gasoline engine. But we want to keep it original motor.

Re: Silverado restoration in Finland

My brother blasted those parts with glass beads. Finally, he process aluminum with a Sinol(hopefully this is right word). Sinol should react with aluminum and not be dirty again.
