Rear Seat belts - '73

I have a '73 Blazer that is a recent acquisition from the original owner. For some reason there are no rear seat belts and my trips to the yards have turned up empty. Can someone tell me what years interchange and where they attach?
Thanks

Re: Rear Seat belts - '73

Anyone with a '73 out there? I looked at the blazer again tonight and I don't even see evidence of past seat belts. I'm guessing they weren't options. Anyone have a pic of how they mount before I piece together some old belts and fab up some mounts?
Thanks

I've never owned one that old and don't know what is "correct", but I've seen them mounted to the rear seat mounting bolts before.

Re: Rear Seat belts - '73

When I got mine it had no belts. I did some pic collecting and found these:

Not sure if this retractor type was oem or not. I found one retractor in my parts pile but it seemed too short. This seat is in the wrong location btw. Too far forward.

I believe this is the correct layout on the rear however. Outside belts attached to seat mount bolts and inside belts have their own mounts.

This seat is in the correct location and has the armrests.

A close up of the belt mounts.

Re: Rear Seat belts - '73

Thanks HD! I have the same seat location as the second set of pics. Is that your set up? I ask because it looks like there are provisions for only two sets of belts whereas all of my newer K5's have 3 sets (my '72 has 3 sets also). If not yours, did you add belts to yours? I'll have to crawl underneath tonight to see if there are holes and threaded backing plates for belts under the carpet. Thanks again.

That's not my setup. My Jimmy is tubbed and the seat has been shortened to where only two will fit now. I bought 2 sets of cheap aftermarket belts and put them on. In oem form it would have been 3 sets.

the center bolts hold the middle seat belts and inner belts for both sides, just like a pickup. I haven't seen one with retractors, though.

My 75 has no rear seat belts and I don't think there are any OEM nuts in the floor for them. Adding them should be fairly easy though.

I take back what I said previously. I looked at the floor on my 75 and there are some extra bolt/hole set inward from the seat mounting ones which may be there for seat belts even though mine came without.

I was wondering because mine came without but it does have the holes for them. Sometimes things go right I guess....
