66 c10 seat question

Wanted to post a pick to see if folks think that these seats are original type, or if they have been swapped out at some time. it's in really good shape exept for some rips in the drivers seat. was going to have it re-covered, but was not sure if this looked to be original or a later model swap.

let me know what you think.

thanks in advance
Terry

Re: 66 c10 seat question

I can't see enough of the seat to be able to answer your question. It definitely is not original '66 upholstery.

Re: 66 c10 seat question

Photos of the seat brackets that attach it to floor would help.
They are very distinctive, easy to tell.

Re: 66 c10 seat question

Also a pic of the side of the seat at the hinge. That tells you about the year range with it being a folder or not.

Re: 66 c10 seat question

Here is a pick of the seat frame. It does fold forward.

Re: 66 c10 seat question

I'm wanting to recover this seat. Trying to determine year to see if I can buy a kit, or I guess I can just take to a shop for custom cover.
