1941 to 46 Chrome Grille - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have searched all of my leads for a chrome grille for this truck and am having no luck.
I have had them on back order since Feb 2014 from several company's and NO LUCK
Does anybody have any leads for a grille for these trucks?

We called them and there were three people have that grille they have and they all said it would not work, so it is just a display!

I am going to bid on the ebay one even if it is OUT of site, but I guess it is supply and demand!

Yes we did explore that idea, but there is some parts that have been replaced and welded together, and the expense is, I think, more than the one we are bidding on flbay.
We are watching the one up for auction

The last time was a 70 Duster bumper. They repaired a couple small bad spots and chromed it for $345 + $35 return shipping. I'm not positive they do grills but it may be worth a call. Nice people who do nice work.

Thanks for the info, we have two real good chrome shops here locally, but there been a lot of metal work to get it to fit where it is now

I bought one of the eBay grills. They look really nice. I never had an original grill in the truck to see how it fit. The eBay grill fit but was a pain in the butt getting everything to line up. Like I said the original ones could be the same way.

What ebay company are you referring to?
How long ago did you buy your grill?
