4 wheel drive emblem on '72

I am restoring/customizing a 1972 custom 10 4X4. I am replacing the Custom/10 emblems and the 8 350. Did it originally have the 4-wheel drive emblem on the door. Any help would be appreciated. Below are the most recent pics.

Re: 4 wheel drive emblem on '72

If I'm not mistaken I've seen the 4wd emblem mounted below the side markers on the front fenders and I've seen them mounted below the C/10 emblem, but never on the doors.

Great - I'll be over in Nov with mine... I'm assuming you'll be looking for something else to work on?

I can get there quick, I'm just over in Graham....

...seriously...

Re: 4 wheel drive emblem on '72

The lift kit is from jackit, a company from Utah. 6 inch lift with new sky jacker leaf springs all the way around, no blocks. 35X12.50 Mickey Thompson Baja Claws on 15 in. Classic II rims.

I was really impressed with the lift kit from jackit. They had the most complete set, new U bolts, brake lines, everything in 1 package.

Re: 4 wheel drive emblem on '72

Great looking truck!!

I think that the 4X4 emblem was used only on the 69 or 70 models. It went under the side marker light. The 71 and 72 had the motor emblem under the side marker light.

Re: 4 wheel drive emblem on '72

The only place the emblem ever went was under the marker light.Well,except`67 where it`s in the same place it`s just not under a marker light.71/72s never got them.Probably because the engine badge got moved there. The engine badges got moved because Custom Deluxes and Cheyenne Supers came out.Si?
