Is it that 454 w/400?

-I know I read a Corvette story about the B.B. being 200#+ over the SB....I will see if I can find it and see if it gives a #.
It was about the 1970 LT-1 vs. the 1970 454.....weight was an issue in the overall performance.

Randy, I had asked this question a while ago. If I remember correctly, a complete big block all together weighs somewhere around 750 lbs.

My ZZ502 wiehged approx 720lbs. This was with alum heads, intake and WP. I thought for sure that the nose of my truck would dip severely when I installed it. to my surprise, it didn't. I would be interested to know the difference between the 350 and my ZZ....I bet it isn't much.

I have mine torn down now and the motor made my engine stand bend forward ,so I had to get it welded to reinforce it. The turbo 400 is very heavy also.
