Question Tachometer wire color?

What would be the GM correct color for a tachometer on one of our trucks?

Talking

The original wiring color for the tachs is brown for the wire to the distributor and pink for the 12 volt positive connection.

Hmmmm, one vote for black, one vote for brown. Anyone else?
Thanks for the color on the 12 volt wire. I was kinda curious about that one too.

Tachometer wire color?

Every stock 67-72 Tach I have seen, plus any reproduction harness I have seen has been BROWN. But as everyone has figured out, sometimes the General did some weird stuff.

suppose it could be brown; mine is a very dark brown if it is. I'll second the pink wire going to the +12V.
