Re: why do the loads never go to a mega pick?

The guy who owns this is a good friend of mine. We went to high school together and he's done some work on my truck in the past for me. They're selling off what's left, but this is only a fraction of what used to be there. If anybody is close enough to head out and look for parts, they'll be very fair on pricing. Always have been.

Re: why do the loads never go to a mega pick?

I've been noticing a trend of " mechanics special" type of trucks not going to picking pull yards over the last 10 years. The supply of '60-'66 parts trucks in wrecking yards has dried up, even here in Calif. They are usually on craigslist, selling as is, they do not part them out, you have to buy the whole truck.
