Post does anyone know how to make this bigger?

I had a guy from work scan some pics of my truck but they are so small you can't tell anything about it. Is there a way to make them bigger or will I have to have them rescanned.

First, get an application that allows you to edit gifs and jpgs in some way. I use photoshop (Adobe) but Illustrator will work too. You can actually fake it in Word (copy/paste into a word doc as a picture, adjust the size, and convert word doc to HTML!), or you can try to do it in some second-rate app like Paint, or something.

Second, clip out all of that white space!

Third, adjust the image size and resave to a new file name.

Done.

You need a photo editing appliation. Photoshop is great but it is around $600. Illustrator is a vector art application and photos are raster art, so photo editing software is best (you can scale an image in illustrator or word but it will loose resolution as you make it larger.) There are some cheaper apps than Photoshop out there such as Microsoft's Picture it and Adobe's PhotoDeluxe. They are around $50 each. Some scanners come with photo editing software. I have seen scanners for as cheap as $50, but I don't know if they come with any software.

That's a relief - a picture of a pickup. when you asked how to make it bigger I was kinda prepared to see... well you know.

I use Paint Shop Pro - the poor man's Photoshop.

If you make them bigger, you are going to lose definition.
