It's been two weeks since I suggested a brace.
You should have one on there by now.
Also check your timing.
Too much advance can make the starter move from trying to crank the motor.

i fixed the problem been buying wrong starters and i bought a brace for more support

Just to put my 2 cents in a think O'reilys parts suck I've gone thrust 4 windshield wiper kits, 2 pairs of wipers, and 3 water pumps. I use Napa and they get the parts in the next day and they last a long time. Just putting my 2 cents in

I just started drag racing and every time I floor it it starts to surge and I just had tuned and timed for drag racing and now I can't figure out way it does that. Does anyone have any good ideas what I should do?

It has a chevy small block 350 crate motor with high performance headers
