99 Tahoe Airaid Throttle body spacer

I just installed an Airaid Throttle Body Spacer and have a question. The throttle cables (and the bracket) fit better if I run them over the top of the A/C line that runs in front of the cables, instead of trying to keep them under that A/C line.

The real question is... Will I have a problem with this set-up, and the cables touching the A/C line? Also... Should I wrap the cables and or the A/C line with a temp shielding wrap/tape?

I snapped a couple of pics of what I am talking about.

Any help is appreciated.

Mahalo and Aloha!

there should be no problem since neither part will be moving to run a hole i the other part and there should be no temp problem and how does the spacer work do you like it?

I did think the A/C line got hot on that side... but it's not like it's been running LOL.

As far as it working ... I haven't put enough miles on it to notice a MPG benefit. I do feel like there is better (quicker) throttle response... I have the Airaid Intake and am planning on a Cat-Back and chip when the extra funds come around.

Thanks,

Jason

I hate to sound stupid... But I don't understand what you mean.

I guess I did use "Chip" to mean a programmer like Hypertech or Superchips (by the way... Superchips is selling discontinued products ((2715 1996-2003 Chevy/GMC V8 Gas Pickups & SUVs $299.00)) and I wonder if anyone thinks those are worth the money)

Thanks for the input.

sorry i meant to say "you dont need a programmer you just need a vin to a 1999 cop car tahoe" thats better than those programmers when you get the vin you need to have it programmed in so you need to find a friendly dealer to do it for you

I don't know that I have those kinds of favors to call in... I don't usually take my cars/trucks to the dealer to have them worked on, and I don't know any mechanics personally.

Are you saying that the dealer's 'programmer' could make the changes I would be looking for if I had the right VIN?

Don't mean to be thick...

Thanks for your help.
