I usually shop all my stuff from Early Classic Enterprises, but they were backordered on the spindles. So, I bought CPP brand spindles from Summit for 209 dollars and DJM springs also from Summit for 109 dollars. The main thing about Summit was that I saved 50 dollars shipping on this order since they have free shipping. Once my stuff arrived and I opened the spindles, they were actually Western brand spindles in CPP boxes. I threw them in my swap meet pile since Decatur swap meet is coming up in 3 weeks. I figured I'd ask 75 bucks for them at the swap. As heavy as they are, I couldn't imagine anyone wanting to buy them and ship them too.

Got the logo painted on the driver's door today. Age has sure made my hands shaky. I paint like I have Parkinson's disease.

It's my first time using a brush and 1 Shot paint. It's good paint and sure lives up to it's reputation.

I appreciate the encouragement from everyone.

I wet sanded the logo with some 600 grit paper and Windex. I tried to make it match the rest of the paint quality on the truck.

That is not something leaking out under my truck. It's a melted snowball. That is however genuine dogcrap on the ground next to the truck. The dogs have 10 acres to poop on and they chose the driveway.

I drove the truck a lot today and the front springs finally sagged in some and took a set. When I got back home, I redid the alignment and backed it outside to get some stance pictures.

It's now 4.5 inch front and 5 inch rear lowered. Western 2.5 spindles, DJM 2 inch front springs, 5 inch ECE rear springs, super track bar, ECE shock relocators with KYB shocks all around.

Pardon the dirty truck but we had over a foot of snow this week which is an all time record for this area. There's lots of mud everywhere.

I threw them in my swap meet pile since Decatur swap meet is coming up in 3 weeks. I figured I'd ask 75 bucks for them at the swap. As heavy as they are, I couldn't imagine anyone wanting to buy them and ship them too.

looks great! i hope it gets you some more attention & business...now i have a good idea how the 4.5/5 drop looks, although the front still might settle a little more...how's the ride up front? i want either 4.5 or 5.5 up front on my '66...i ran a 5" (spindles/springs) front drop on my old 93 fullsize, & it still rode nicely...just gotta be careful about scraping on incline/declines

I finally broke down and did something I've been putting off forever, changing the windshield. I'd saved a good used one out of a parts truck about a year ago.

Installing a 55-63 windshield will make a nervous wreck out of a man. I can do one like a 64 and newer with my eyes shut but these wraparounds add a whole new dimension to the job. My girlfriend helped me but it still took nearly an hour. I did it in her garage rather than my shop since it's not too involved of a job and the light is better in there.

It's in right and not cracked so I suppose it's a success.
