Finally found my Unicorn

Ive been looking for a clean 70-71 C10 for about 6 years. Ive driven 1,000's of miles to get nothing more than a cheeseburger. I found a real nice 78 that was LS swapped that kept me entertained for about 6 months but it just wasn't the one.
Finally looking on CL one day I ran across the one. Guy had just completed a frame off restoration on it and its as nice as the day it was new. I made a few tweaks to it right away and have mostly left it alone since. But that has changed in the last month.
I don't know how to get photos to not rotate, sorry.

I’m guessing your going to be going through some tires on that one. Sweet ride!

Re: Finally found my Unicorn

I'm kinda partial to how it looked with the 6, because you NEVER see a nicely restored one, but I get the urge too!

Now that's what I'd call a "Sleeper", stock on the outside, but heart beating beast under the hood. Very nice ride! Congrats!!!

Your truck looks great, how far did you drop it 2/4 , 3/5? and what did you use to accomplish it.

Re: Finally found my Unicorn

Sweet truck. What accessory drive system is that? I like that it uses a compact compressor and keeps it in front of the valve cover.

Flip fa ya....

OK
adding a big block to a 6 cylinder truck isn't just 'some changes' !!

Re: Finally found my Unicorn

Any plans to beef up the rear end? If it were me I'd swap out that 12 Bolt for a Dana 60, or something of the like. That 12 Bolt may not last if you like the loud pedal.
