Wink My 1954 Chevy PickUp-truck

Hi again to all,
i think it is better to start a new thread, because i canīt change the title-name of my older one ("Badly needed..).

Last weekend i was on my first meeting with the chassis that we attached on Friday...and the interest and feedback of the visitors to the fair was great!!

here are the pictures...i will keep you up-to-date ;-)

Greetings from germany,

Sweeeeet! I love it... Is that a stock LS2 engine or is it modified?
I have one issue with the setup, you should replace the crank pulley with a 25% underdrive pulley which would make it look better and also give an additional 5 RWHP, but damn, that's sweet. can't wait to see the rest of the build, please post more pics. We love pictures.

I used Sanderson cast iron headers with a ceramic coating:

Re: My 1954 Chevy PickUp-truck

Daniel U, he is using a LS engine, headers like yours will not fit his heads.
That was one of the questions I have also.

Re: My 1954 Chevy PickUp-truck

Your truck looks awesome! Well at least the chassis, . These are the headers I used on my 69 Suburban, but looks like they might work for you too.

Sorry, I should've posted that my Gen I block with TPI is much different than the LS? GTO motor. He may have to notch his chassis or inner fenders if he keeps the newer style motor.
HartRod, are those Doug Thorley's?

Re: My 1954 Chevy PickUp-truck

I think that Street and Performance would be the best solution. They should have a block hugger style header for the LS, I have seen them everywhere but can't figure out where.
