How tall are 2WD Blazer and C10 springs?

Well

The question is in the title.

Anyone know how tall standard or even known lowering springs are please.

I have been given a set with correct 20mm thickness

Tbe ones on the truck are 5 1/2” or 140mm outside size.

I have been given a pair that are 14” tall

But the ones on my 79 2WD Blazer look like this.

Truck is in England.

What I have.

Certainly needs a lift up front.

Those appear to have been torched to lower them. The coil spacing isn't uniform anymore.

Hey John

Thank you the reply.

Yes, the previous owner proudly told me he had torched them.

Genius way.

Mine looked like that. I replaced them with 1" drop springs and a 2' spindle drop. With a 255 60 15" front tire it sits great and rides awesome.

Just indoors now.

Been fighting the truck all day.

Could you please measure yours from the floor up past the centre to the bottom lip of the fender and let me know??

Could you do that for the front and rear please?

Thank you

Rian.

Re: How tall are 2WD Blazer and C10 springs?

Thanks to Paul’s expert guidance I have now just ordered a set of these.

Looks like the rear will be dropping by 2 inches.

And so ends another good MoJo filled weekend.
