Not too bad here without the wind blowing, BUT it seems like we have hurricane force winds with the cold too! Gotta love the south, makes you miss the old north land.

Yea we have a Frost warning.
It going to be colder on Mothers Day that it was on Christmas Day

...FROST ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 8 AM
CDT SUNDAY...
* WHAT...Frost with low temperatures between 33 to 37.
* WHERE...Portions of Middle Tennessee.
* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 8 AM CDT Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if
left uncovered.
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.

Not particularly where I was in Colorado: nice sunny cool spring day.

I seem to remember a hurricane or something at the same time though … is that what knocked down the bridge ???

It's at least 20 below average. Uh oh, you know what that means. Brace yourself for a good 20 above average next! Got to keep it on average someway somehow.

Figure this out: it's been snow covered, icy, or muddy nearly all the time for the past 7+ months, but we are way below average so far for annual moisture.

I left Arizona a week ago Friday when it was 102*. It was mid 70s when I got to Wisconsin. Then, it was a high of 37* and a low of 20* Thursday. Parts of the state nearby could get 2 to 4 inches of snow tonight. 102* sounds pretty good to me now!

Re: Its freaking cold,... what the heck y'all?

Today I had to look up Murder Hornet and Skyway Bridge. Never heard of either. I could have lived without the Murder Hornet. Being a Western Washington native my entire life I too remember Mt St Helens, but holy heck ... 40 years???

It was in the mid 80's here today, definitely not something we are used to, especially this time of year. That being said our furnace went kaput this winter and when we had it replaced we decided to add air conditioning to our system. First time we haven't had to roll out the R2D2 sized "air conditioning systems" (we have two of em) we've been using for years. Unit has big ol tubes, one pulling in the good air and one pushing the hot air out through an open window.

We were Thurston Howell III and Lovie today lol!

Re: Its freaking cold,... what the heck y'all?

We broke the nighttime low record from '66 Friday night by a couple degrees. Yesterday broke a lowest high record, too. I think it got up to 52*, but add a stiff breeze to that. People were saying it was too cold to golf... sheesh. It wasn't bad at all. Perfect weather for being active and doing something worthwhile.

It was real nice here yesterday. I spent some time out in the yard. In hind site I should have gone fishing. Gotta work on that boat next. But this morning it was some nippy.
