WTB Original paint mint or near mint Tailgate

I see them pop up here occasionally. Anyone have a new take off or near mint tailgate they are willing to ship? Must be GM, prefer original paint so I know it's not full of filler.
I know these are rare and not usually cheap but I was hoping to get lucky.
I need one for my build. Thanks

This is the only photo I have on my computer. There are other NOS gate parts in the photo that I would consider selling (handle, arms, latches, etc). I'll try to estimate the shipping weight and dimensions and get a price to you.

That's an awesome looking gate. I'm sure it's out of my budget but. I sure would like to own it.

I have this gate... it is real straight... has a easy fix dent on the left side shown in the picture and a few small holes that will weld easily... overall nice tailgate... I would take 300.00 for it pickup only...

Thank you for the pictures. It looks like a nice gate. I really would like to find a scuff and shoot original paint gate or real close to NOS. I'll pass on this one. thanks

The trouble with 40+ year old tailgates is that they are (mostly) all rusting from the untreated inside out. Even the nicest may be a day away from a pinhole starting

Yep, I agree totally. But I have seen a few pop here that were new take-offs for a camper or NOS. Ones that were stuck in a garage attic and forgotten about. They haven't been exposed to weather. That's the one I want.
Rare but there are a few out there.
