spring information needed!!
Hey guys not posted anything for a while been in hospital. Started lowering my c20 burb and ran into some problems... First I had a heart attack (not while working on it) few days in hospital stints put in and off work for a little while but doing better never dreamed of this at 48 years old but that's life. Starting to work on the burb again but slowly. It has trailing arms so I have everything lose was going to cut springs but if I do they are not going to fit back in "socket" plate to bolt back in. My question is will front springs from a c10 or c20 work on the back? I have a set don't really know if they are front or back springs. Want to lower back 5 to 6 inches also adding 2" drop blocks. Thanks guys I need some help on this one also trying to save a little cash since I had the extra springs.

Re: spring information needed!!
Simple answer is don't do it. Back spring radius/size is different from the front. Be safe and spend the $100 on a nice set of rear drop springs. Just my $.02!

I agree with 4shongo. The rear springs are tapered top and bottom so you can't cut them. The fronts will not work because they are not tapered on either end. I also don't think you can go that low without "C" notching the frame. Do some more reading on lowering limits and frame mods. Save your pennies and buy some springs. LockDoc
