Rear Quarter Panel Help

Is there anywhere that reproduce the rear quarter panel of the suburbans? Or at least enough pieces to make a whole one? Really the only pieces I can find are the two lowers. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Rear Quarter Panel Help

not sure how big of patch panels you need but I used a decent pair of truck LWB bed sides for patch panels on mine.

As far as I know of there are no complete suburban reproduction panels.

Re: Rear Quarter Panel Help

I use the following to repair the rear quarters on the Suburban's. Outer rockers for area along lower body behind front drivers door, back to just before the wheel arch, I use the lower rocker because if you cut it in a straight line right below the door opening section this gives you the lower body curve with the lip on it to attach the inner rear quarters. The truck parts don't have this lip, then in the area above this in front of the wheel arch I use a door skin as it as the same body lines, at the wheel arch I use a complete wheel arch then use the Suburban rear lower quarter panel patch behind the rear wheel to the taillight section if I need to repair above this I again use part of a outer door skin, the only part that needs fabricated is on drivers side if the fuel filler areas damaged. Then of course at the far rear use the Suburban rear taillight section. You have to fabricate the inner quarters except for the small curved piece at the far rear its reproduced. You can fabricate inners with some good 19ga steel and a bead roller and metal brake rather easily if you have access to them if not any competent body shop can do it.
