"Captain Chaos C10" Build Thread

Hey guys I'm an old member, I have owned the truck for almost a year now. Thought I would finally put a build thread on my truck. The reason I call the truck Captain Chaos is because it's either causing me chaos (mechanical wise) or I'm causing chaos with it. Feel free to leave comments and opinions.

A good example of chaos.... when I broke a axle. It's been fixed since then.

Re: "Captain Chaos C10" Build Thread

I opened this thread just to see if there was gonna be a Cannonball Run referance!
That is an awesome title for a build thread!

Yeah like I said before it had a spool, bald tires, and 3.73s. Now and days I just laugh about it.

Re: "Captain Chaos C10" Build Thread

So I guys I guess I should give you some more information about me and the truck. The truck is a 1970. It has a LQ4 and TH350, with a Victor Jr. Intake, Comps camshaft, and 5.3 heads. Some of my future plans are to get new wheels, new intake manifold, new heads, new tailgate, and other small things. Maybe build it up to a 370 or 408. Here is some Captain Chaos latest trouble he decided to give me Sunday. Hood hinge rivet broke, it's got fixed today.

Yeah, I didn't install it myself the previous owner did. You can use a spool or mini spool on the street but in most cases, if you are using a different spline count and a stronger metal than what came from the factory.

what was left of my spider gears in my old 12-bolt. Too many one-wheel peels with a 400hp 383 stroker
