4.5" front and 7" rear using McGuaghy's and Porter Built suspension parts.
Probably going to try 5.5/8 just to see how I like it.

Re: Project: 69' Stepper

Seat Issues:
1) Always moved around a little and rattled.
2) Sat to high for my taste.
3) Needed leg room after shortening steering column 3".

Fix, Lower seat: Got rid of all of the seat adjustment parts (never needed in my case) when doing the lowering. Making the solid mounts made a huge difference, fixed all of the above issues and now I feel like I'm in the truck... not on it.
Lowered the stock bench seat 1 3/4" using nothing but the stock sliders. Tried a bunch of different heights and this was the best option for me. This combined with the steering column shortening have made the cab MUCH roomier!

Re: Project: 69' Stepper

The seat idea is great. I'm 6'2" and 300lbs and think I might just have to steal that idea from you. Have given it some thought on what to do and never even considered ditching all the adjustable junk and lowering the seat.

The difference is huge for guys our size, the cab just feels much bigger and the driving position is much more comfortable. Best of all, it's free!

Re: Project: 69' Stepper

Thanks for all of the kind words gentlemen, very much appreciated.

I'm working on the interior some right now, starting with the doors. I'll get some more pics posted up here pretty soon.
