Exclamation ** I need your help, please. **

Can anyone please assist in identifying this spring and pivot mechanism.
Just back from a road trip and this was lying on the floor mat.
I have no idea what it is and need to put it back where it belongs.
All help greatly appreciated.

That is part of the linkage for the HVAC mode doors actuator that is above the gas pedal.
