Spark plugs for 70 350 w/ HEI
Hoping someone could shed some light , about to swap in an HEI and wondering about plug choices . Far as I know its a stock ls9 255hp 350
should I start with factory spec plugs ? AC ? thanks

Use what is specified & set the gap a little wider like .045.

I'm pretty sure I am running AC Delco R45TS gapped at .045 and thats what the HEI calls for.

Can't recall which Delcos I am using, but they are the stock ones -- gapped at .045.
Been using this combo for quite a few years now...

i used basic autolite plugs, gap is set at .45. at autozone, i use the omnisaprk wires from a 79 chevy because they have 90 degree boots on both ends. never had a problem. HEI with 350, headers

I have AC R44TS, gapped at .045 in a '71 Jimmy [350 '98 crate].
