Body side trim measurements

I have a non trim truck and trying an experiment with getting trim alternatives. So if someone can give me the measurement of how wide the top and bottom pieces are would be appreciated. I can figure out the length. Thanks

This build is on at tight budget, and that trim is expensive.I may do paint or pinstripes or something else.

Re: Body side trim measurements

Go through Sw Classics, they get theirs from Mar-K but it’s priced better

Re: Body side trim measurements

I would be interested in seeing what you come up with for a solution. I also have a non trim truck and had been thinking about trim alternatives.

I had considered painting the trim (silver for the chrome and white for the inset).

Also considered using vinyl/plastic chrome or black trim to simulate the original.

I talked to a guy who makes and applies photographic wraps (like used on commercial vehicles for advertising) about doing something with wrap material but he didn't seem interested in trying to do a chrome trim rendering.

Re: Body side trim measurements

Quick question on the hole sizes to drill. What size holes for the top molding and the bottom molding?
