Steering Wheel Compatibility

I'm one of those weirdos who likes the large size of the original steering wheel on my '72 C20. Unfortunately, the sun turned it into chalky gravel and I'm looking for a replacement. I don't like the price of the reproduction ones and the only other options I can find that big are for semi trucks. I was looking at the link below, but they only list an adapter for '74+ Chevy trucks. What is the difference? The spline has 36 teeth (unless my thumbnail skipped) and it's roughly 7/8"

Re: Steering Wheel Compatibility

Im unsure of the exact years but it could be all the way to present that GM steering wheels interchange, spline size and count, 1955 or so to present.
The best fit is smaller diameter hubs from chevy cars without the key on the column. The difference in column diameter is about 1/4" or so therefore its not real noticeable.

Thumbs up Re: Steering Wheel Compatibility

Well if you want some idea's here are a few. I know that work and they are about the same sizes.

1-2 wheels are 63/64 Impala.
3rd is a Corvair wheel are Camaro depending on the center cap you choose.
4th is a 67 truck wheel.
Last picture is a 67 SS Chevelle wheel in my 71 C10.
They all work on either the Impala shaft are the truck shaft.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
