LS1 Alternator bracket help

Hi Guys

Iv got a bit of an issue, Id like to relocate my alternator to the top and to the side however none of the brackets I see would work with my power steering.

As you can see from these sample pics, my PS reseviour is the see through plastic type however all the brackets that iv seen have the built in black ones

Example:

Is there a difference between these 2 styles or is it all the same?

Any help or tips would be appreciated!

Thanks

That last pic is of a vette system, its totally different from the GTO. You would have to change everything, including the crank pulley and watt pump to use that. What kind of car is it in? Looks like the low mount would work.

Its in a 67 C10, as you can see, the reservoir is a completely separate unit instead of the single piece black one

Single piece PS

My PS looks like this

The reason I want to move it up is because its uncomfortably close to the frame rail...moving it up would make things easier

Unfortunately not, In my country, any play/notching/welding to the frame makes the car not registrable

Its about a finger to finger and a half
