Lowering the front of 73 jimmy

I recently purchased a 73 jimmy that has a flip kit in the rear and western 2.5" drop spindles up front. It also has a cut coil spring in the front, supposed to be one coil cut off of it. The rear sits one inch lower than the front right now and it feels like it has a crazy California rake to it.

What drop spring should I get to lower the front? Whats the best combo for ride quality also?

I was planning on a set of mcgaughys 2" springs and a set of shocks for the front.

One cut coil is roughly 2 inches worth of drop, this depending on how worn your springs are. I would suggest buying a 3 inch drop spring.

Personally I have 3/4 ton spring with 1.5 of a coil cut and it seems my drop is level with the rear flip.

okay thanks, i'll probably order a set. Is the ride quality better on a purchased spring over a cut spring?

I've only rode on half ton cut springs and 3/4 ton cut springs. I've never bothered with drop springs.

Here is a comparison on mine. Top picture had that cali lean(1 cut coil on the 3/4 ton spring), bottom picture shows after I cut an extra half coil on the 3/4 spring.

Why do you use the 3/4 ton springs, looks good btw, and better after the cut

Ive been told spring rate is better on the 3/4, so when cutting it you will still have better spring rate than an uncut stock half ton speing... or something along those lines.
