A/C removal.

Hi everybody. Because I am going to run my '75 K5 as a soft top (I got the last white 'softtopper' that they made before they stopped with that color) I decided to eliminate the A/C unit to help clean up the engine compartment (see picture) I have a replacement heater unit from 'A/C delete', but I'm sure there is other A/C related stuff hanging around the place.

What is it and where is it? I see there is a condenser tube unit around the radiator. What else would I be missing?

Re: A/C removal.

Once you get the condenser off the front side of the core support, compressor and associated brackets off the motor, and evaporator/drier off the firewall, you've got the bulk of it. There's a different blower motor, fan, and blower motor resistor listed for non-ac trucks and you'll want to change the controls to non-ac. You'll have the wires to the compressor and drier that will need to be dealt with. I'm sure I'm overlooking something.

Re: A/C removal.

The A/CDelete kit comes with new blower motor and fan and we're going to re-wire the whole truck anyway while everything is off / out of it. New wiring harness en route as I type.
