pics of rack & pinion shaft routing

Here are some pics of a truck I saw at Goodguys this past weekend. I saw that it had rack and pinion so thought you guys might like to see how he did his steering shaft. It was a completely fabricated cross member. Looks like he routed the shaft through the motor mount towers. He also make up some custom inner fenders but I doubt they'd do much good at keeping the engine compartment clean on a daily driver!

Do you have any more pics of the bedside? I'm curious to see the steps, they look pretty short. Did he shorten the whole frame?

no, that was the only picture I took of that truck. Honestly, I don't like the looks of it. It does look like it's been shortened though.

I bet its on a blazer frame I know a guy who had a 70 gmc short step on a 75 blazer frame 4x4 The bed was that short.

Look at the step. It was shortend at the step, not the bed. Yeah, I have to agree things didn't come together very well for all the tons of work they did...

Slam it in the dirt change the tire size and loose the grille and then it would look good. And loose the damn wing!!!!
