'63 Trazer

Hey Guys... I originally bought this 63 swb to slam on the ground for the wife, yea right. Then, while building an 87 trazer for my kid, a young feller stopped by one day and wants to know if I want to buy his failed Blazer project. Seems he and his wife are having their first child, and the blazer needed to go. So I bought it. This kid had everything, including complete front and rear full size floor pans from GM. We used a few things from the purchase to finish my kids truck, and I decided the 63 would look good up there, so here it is. Everything on the frame has been replaced by the PO right down to new brake hardware. The motor is a low mile but used 400sb. The tranny is a th350 with a 203 transfer case. 12 bolt axels front and rear with 373 gears I believe, and a posi in the rear. So far there is 6" of suspension lift and 4" of body lift. Currently there are 35" tires on it, but I may go bigger. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have, or shoot me some advice if you have any. I'm all ears...Thx...Kevin

Re: '63 Trazer

It would look pretty killer as a blazer but in a 63 body, removable roof and all, fiberglass of course or it would weigh a ton.

Re: '63 Trazer

4x4s are fun, we have a 77 Cheyenne short bed fleetside back home.
9" lift and 62" tires.
All it needs now is a gun rack in the back window, and a winch.....

Good luck with your build, this should be fun!!

Re: '63 Trazer

Hey Guys... Its been a while since I've posted. Here are some pics of where we are at. I hope to have this thing running and moving by the end of August to go muddin with my son and his 87 Trazer, before he gets deployed to Afghanistan.
