New Guy

Hey People, I am new on here. I recently got a 1970 LWB with a 350. The truck seems to be in ok shape but does needs lots of work. It has auto/AC/ cruise. I am not sure if the cruise is stock or not because I can't figure out how it hooks up. I don't have all the vacuum attachments like I have seen in other posts. Anyhow I am sure I will be asking lots of questions as my restoration continues. I have been reading through the posts here and this board is awesome.

That thinkg ooks plenty solid...try an Ohio truck if you want a challenge. I'll trade you for the GMC turd if you feel you can handle it.

I haven't tried to drive it anywhere yet with my new "Bucket Seat" haha. I do have the original bench seat which I had just removed so that I could get a better look at what was going on in the interior. Both sides of the floor boards have rusted out and so has the rocker arms.

BTW ..I had a guy give me an estimate on a paint job...I almost choked....$6000.00 Does that sound reasonable? I thought it was extremly high. He said he would take the entire truck apar and bead blast it.
