64 chevy 230 engine

I have a 64 Chevy and I am pulling the original engine and tranny out of it and upgrading to something else. I need to sell off the engine and tranny cuz I have no use for it and dont want it laying around. The engine is a 230 and unknown if it runs but the crank turns smoothly and the tranny is a 3 speed and it turns smoothly. Thats about all I know about it. How much should I expect to get for something like this?

I'd say that you'd probably get $200 for the package if you find someone who wants it. the fact is, though that most people do exactly what you are doing.

Re: 64 chevy 230 engine

I'd like to have it but I live in the Amarillo (Texas Panhandle). Any chance you would be going east on I-40?

Sorry, sold it off a while ago. I have a 99 LS1 to take its place now.
