How many transmission Guys we have on here??

Hoping to get your attention. I have a 94 Sonoma with a 4.3 v6 and 4L60E/700R4 trans. It shifts fine until it gets hot. then it won't shift. Can somebody point me in the right direction?
I would love to learn how to rebuild these transmissions. Is there any place I can get detailed rebuild manuals.

when it gets hot the fluid gets thinner and most likely you have an interna seal going out or problems in the VB again with heat the the fluid gets thinner clearnaces get larger

Ok, now that makes perfect sense.
Let me ask you this, Why does a 700 cost so much more to rebuild than a 350?? I can get a 350 built for 350-400 bucks. but the 700 is 750- 800.

You can find parts at www.bulkpart.com Your local library or book store carry rebuild manuals. You do need special tools.

I'm a decent mechanic. I prefer to leave something as complex as the 700R4 to experts.
