63 Brakes

Little by Little.
The front brakes are stock 63.
My Dad got the rearend out of something years ago when the original broke.
Looks like it might have been a 66 or something.
I need to pick up 2 more drums and an outer bearing for the right front.

Re: 63 Brakes

The adjustment screw spring on the front brake in the photo is not the correct spring for manual adjustment brakes. It is for self adjusting brakes.

I have the correct spring, but I did not like how it fit.
Should I use them or is this okay?

Yes. You need to use them. That fits in the notches in the adjuster & gives it the click & prevents it from backing off.
