That's nice! If you don't mind how much did it cost?

Thanks, I got the panel for the same price the seller has them posted now. Search Intellitronix (no affiliation), you can find them in various colors.

Anyone ever try this and can confirm if it works or not for oil pressure?

Re: Gauges used for LSx swaps

Looks like speedhut came out with a Cable X competitor that also has the benefit of GPS (if you so choose, it can also connect to VSS).

http://www.speedhut.com/Speedbox.html

Blog reviews are very favorable. I think I'm gonna go this way rather than the S10 speedo swap. I was hesitant to go with Cable X because of the noise complaints (not that my truck is quiet in the cab lol).

Also, I've been running the stock mech. oil pressure gauge for nearly 2 years now. It reads high, of course (and pegs out at high RPM) but it seems to work well. At first I was concerned about the high pressure breaking the gauge (and dousing me in hot oil) but so far so good.

I completed the box body Voltimeter swap and I'm happy with it. To the untrained eye it looks stock and works great.

New fuel gauge from LMC is working but calibration is off. When full it reads 7/8th of a tank and about 1/2 tank reads empty. Im using a Boyd's rear tank and GM 0-90 ohm sender. Strange....

Check out Cable X and Speedhut Speedbox. I believe thats what you are looking for if you want to run a stock speedo without modifying it. If you do want to modify it, you can do the S10 conversion or send it to Redline Gaugeworks and they'll do it for you.

Definitely subscribed.

Thinking of getting the VHX system. HDX looks nice, but not another $500 nice...

The VHX system is very nice, glad we went that way over individual gauges.

Hey Crash,

Do you have any pictures showing how/where you mounted your PCM along with that other electronic stuff? It appears to be under the dash somewhere but I have no idea how you found room for all that. I've looked, and can't seem to find a spot for even my computer, let along all that other stuff. Thanks

Re: Gauges used for LSx swaps

What engine are you using? I have a new 2018 L83 and had the harness wired to include two OB2 ports.
Would like to hear more on your setup!
