need help identifying markings on th350

i pulleda th350 out of a truck the other day adn theres a big K on the bellhousing anyone know what it stands for? its in the casting not written on.

I don;'t think there's any real reason for those... mine says c4... like a ford tranny.

I don't know about th350 but a K cast into the case of a 700r4 usually means it's a heavy duty trans and/or case. All the 700r4's that I have seen with the K have bolt on aluminum torque converter dust covers and out of 4x4s.
