Is The 84 V8 Cross Member That Same As A 87 V8 Transmission Cross Member

but in general if same body style and 2wd or 4wd to same should be .

If you're talking about the front crossmember/spring perch for the 2wd then all the 2wds in any engine size are the same in the there respective series. 10s match 10s, 20s match 20s, ect... I've swapped a few and never had and issues no matter the year or engine though the GMC ones are supposed to be thicker from what I've been told.

*thicker as in stronger not wider* not to confuse anyone they fit the same from frame to frame.

Can't tell from your picture but I removed the other one from my V8 1985 2WD 1/2 ton. it originally had a 305 with a 700R4 trans. Mines a long bed if that makes a difference.
