Looks good. This is roughly the mild stance (with stock wheels) I'm looking at in my '98 for now. Any significant change in handling/ride quality? Curious if you ever haul anything and what that's like now.

I really dont tow anything, I have another truck for that, it dont ride bad at all. Im sure it would ride better with some bilsteins or something other than the older bell techs i have now.

I tend to haul stuff in the bed of mine. Mulch, compost, loads of spent grain/mash. Nothing crazy like giant rocks although PO of my truck did. Me hauling stuff is the only thing that's been making me think twice about dropping it.

Fear about this is probably unfounded. Too ashamed to ask on the suspension forum

You can always add helper air bags.

In the pic it has 235/60-17 fronts & 275/60-17 rears. Fronts have since been changed to shorter 225/60's because of rubbing.

Re: Show lowered 88-98 trucks

I'm usually more over in the 67-72 section with my 70 shortbox, but...

Just pulled this old 89 GMC out of a guys grandpa's garage where its been sitting for a few years. working on getting it cleaned back up/running smooth and back on the road.

Full AirRide Technologies Suspension, with a 4 link rearend.

A friend started calling it Ron Burgandy... lol

Thanks, yeah. you know how it goes, he moved, got busy with work and family, and it got shoved to the side. then no time or money to get it back in shape.
