It's time to pay for the paint Job! WIW

As much as I hate to, I think I better sell old blue. This is not a for sale thread, just a WIW. I need the cash to help pay for the paint job on my project.

The burb is pretty much original 72, BB, tilt tach, front and rear air. It runs like a champ, I think it must be a 454 because it runs too good to be the original 402.

The only rust is in front of and behind the rear wheels. The paint is mostly original and weak in spots (top of fenders and roof) I think the hood has been changed and has sone hail dents.

Anyway I have never had a burb and I am not really sure what to ask for it, and wanted to get some ideas on what to ask for it........Thanks Jason

You can run the #'s on the engine to see if it's a 402 or not. I would say$3000- $3500 for a quick sale. Gas prices will also affect the sale for the average person anymore.

Can't really help you with a price range, but that's a clean and very solid looking 'burb. Hopefully one day I can add one like it to my small but growing fleet.

not sure, great looking burb though. i think that the big block and gas prices will be a factor in price though.

these trucks don't need vacuum gauges cause they don't suck!

most people buying collector vehicles don't drive them every day, so I doubt gas MPG will matter. The weak economy will do more dammage. Think about it, the Smith family down the street aren't gonna buy this as there 'family vehicle'
That IS a sweet looking truck, and you would be able to get 6 or 7k out of it INSTANTLY up here.... can't say about your market though.

I'd say $2-2500. It is a nicer original truck but MPG does factor into it and so does the craptastic economy. I didn't sell my 4X4 Blazer with a 454 for 4#k on ebay, so figure a burb at less than that price? I'd like to have it, but I need to stay married!
