MSD Mounting Location Pics

I got a MSD 6a and a HVC 2 coil. I would like to see some pics of the locations you all mounted your box and coil.

I mounted everything inside. I used a MSD COIL wire pass through on fire wall

Re: MSD Mounting Location Pics

In the 66 things were a bit busy between the seats.... mounted the CD box inside like 68 V-10, but put the coil under the hood. I'm just not a fan of the coil wire bulkhead deals.

Same scenario in the Nova with everything electrical in the passengers seat area, coil under the hood

Re: MSD Mounting Location Pics

I fabricated a bracket out of 16ga steel for the Digital 6AL box to mount on the passenger side inner fender. I am still using an MSD Pro-billet HEI with internal coil. But I'm going to swap that distributor out one of these days for a non-HEI style. Works for now though... My truck isn't a drag truck... but goes kinda fast...

Re: MSD Mounting Location Pics

I went with the MSD 8360 Pro Billet ready to run, no need for the box and has an internal rev limiter. Mounted my coil right to the firewall...
