axle swap help
hey all, im swapping a 79 3/4 ton axle under my 49 AD 1 1/2 ton truck. I know i have to strengthen the frame a little bit on the front. But what do you guys suggest for mounting brackets front and rear. should i fab somthing up or should i see about buying some or having a shop do it? currently the inside of the rear hangers are about in the middle of my frame and the front hangers inside is about even with the outside of my frame. any suggestions or pictures would be greatly appreciated.
