I think they used a full top and cut that front portion (home made) like mentioned above.

To me it looks like it was a half top to begin with. If they cut down the original top, It would be a flat cut at the back and not have the double drip rail like it has. Either way I have had a double wall homemade one and what they did was cut down a double wall and then put the hatch in place as the back window with bondo and sheet metal. It wasn't too bad looking but I went a different direction with mine and needed space so I sold it.

Well this 76-91 version is pretty much the same as, you get a sheetmetal shop to fab the lower bedwall, get 4 buddies to come over and remove the heavy factory one, and simply bolt in the custom stuff,
(you mask off the floor and wax it and set the bedwall in place temporarily set upward slightly lile 1/32 " pump in scilicone to form the lower bedwall gasket~ clean away excess Tidy-ly)

and once its set up yo then bolt the bewall in place, it seals -But is not stuck to the floor.

This rear walls lower edge turns back on a 76-91 style, on the 69-72 if goes forward

Re: Blazer half cabs

Hey everybody, new to the group. I have a Pacesetter half cab and I’m looking for a bulkhead or a diagram so I can build one. I’ll try and add a pic of my 71 2wd with the half cab on it.

Thanks
Zac

IMHO, Pacesetter's do not bring same $ MTP's bring.

(MTP - Minnesota Truck Parts, attaches like factory)

I sold my Pace about 8-10 years ago for $800 with
a Bulkhead. Would estimate $1500 easy "if" it has
the latches, decent shape, and removable divider.
